Photosynthesis can be weakened in hotter locations due to a few factors. High temperatures can lead to an increase in photorespiration, which can reduce the efficiency of photosynthesis. Additionally, extreme heat can cause damage to the photosynthetic machinery within the plant, leading to a decrease in photosynthetic activity. However, some plants have adapted to thrive in hot environments and have mechanisms to cope with high temperatures, allowing them to maintain photosynthesis even in hotter locations. Overall, while photosynthesis can be weakened in hotter locations, the extent of the impact depends on the specific plant species and their ability to adapt to high temperatures. **
